...and I am excited about that! I freewheeled my way into Czech Republic through the forests of Western Bohemia. Later on I had to push a little harder to get over the hills to make it to Prague (189 km) but I did it cheerfully!
Bohemia seems to be anything but Germany. Once crossed the border, villages looked way less neat, and that might be an understatement. Lots of houses doesn't seem to be painted or replastered for decades and the public space is not maintained in a German way.
On the other hand, the first bigger town on my way through CR was a very fancy one: spa resort Mariánské Lázně - I rode through the city accompanied by some bombastic music echoing all around through the air. You can watch and listen something of it here.
I am looking forward to get more impressions in the days to come, actually I am pretty tired now... I can tell you, this journey has been one rollercoaster ride so far and I guess it was only the beginning. Tomorrow I take the day off in Prague!
